LEGISLATION & GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
TRVA takes a strong position toward legislative awareness and planning
through the Government Affairs Committee. The Association employs a
dynamic and aggressive lobbying firm that monitors all Texas legislation.
TRVA lobbyists often draft and oversee the successful enactment of bills
at TRVA’s direction. Through a variety of resources TRVA keeps watch
over the national and local governments to insure that everything possible
is done to protect and promote the interests of its membership.
NEWSLETTER
The Scanner, a quarterly publication keeps you informed of association
and industry interests and activities. It offers articles on anassortment of
topics including education, marketing, industry statistics, government
affairs, insurance and legal concerns. Special bulletins are published for
the purpose of informing members of important industry or legislative
developments.

CONVENTION
TRVA’s annual convention offers a unique opportunity for members to
spend time together learning, sharing ideas, and participating in
scheduled sports, social and educational activities. It is also an
opportunity for RV dealers in non-competing market areas to have an
open discussion pertaining to all facets of dealership management.
The annual business meeting is held at which time members conduct
the business of the association, present reports, and elect officers for
the next term.
TRADE SHOWS
The annual TRVA sponsored trade show, The Southwest RV Supershow
is held in Dallas, Texas. Each year hundreds of exhibitors display the
latest makes and models of recreational vehicles and state-of-the-art RV
technology. Booths acquaint dealers and consumers with what is new in
after-market services and products.
Local Chapters also sponsor regional trade shows across the state.
In the RGV this is the All Valley RV Show.
